Glamming up the iconic street food classic of burger and fries, Sofitel Singapore City Centre presents two mouth-watering renditions available at SGD29.90 each, handmade from scratch. Expertly conceptualised by Executive Chef Jean-Charles Dubois, satisfy your burger cravings with The French Burger, made with an authentic French recipe featuring premium Wagyu beef patty, green peppercorn sauce, smoked Comté cheese, sautéed white button mushrooms and a generous side of truffle fries. Alternatively, indulge in the fragrant Mala Szechuan Burger by Executive Chinese Chef Andrew Chong, featuring roasted corn-fed chicken, sautéed bok choy, smoked Comté cheese, mala sauce, Szechuan mayonnaise and a side of delicious spicy fries.

Gourmet Bundles with Gluten-free Option

Other must-tries are two newly introduced gourmet bundles available at SGD46 per person, featuring Racines’ gastronomic signatures and catering to distinctive palates.

French Bundle comprising a Lobster Bisque, Wagyu Beef Cheek with Mashed Potatoes and Flourless Chocolate Sponge Cake, boasting incredible taste and perfect for diners with gluten sensitivity. Also available is the Asian-inspired Gourmet Chinese Bundle (left), bursting with local flavor and featuring the Szechuan-style Locally-farmed Frog Legs, Lobster Hokkien Mee and Osmanthus Jelly.

Exquisite Takeaway High Tea

High tea connoisseurs will be delighted to learn that 1864’s well-loved afternoon tea experience is also available for takeaway at SGD101.20 for two. Diners can look forward to taking their leisurely afternoon tête-à-tête experience home with an exquisite selection of bites, served alongside a selection of TWG Teas.

Beautifully presented in a box designed by the hotel’s artist-inresidence Arianna Caroli, the takeaway set features savoury elements such as a Baked Croissant with Truffle Eggs, Orientalstyle Smoked Duck in Pie Tee and Smoked Salmon Tartare with Cucumber Gelée and Caviar. No afternoon tea would be complete without a variety of sweets, and Executive Pastry Chef Sam Leong has designed a dance of flavours and textures to entertain the palate. Look forward to picture-perfect treats of Dark Chocolate Tart with Hazelnut Chantilly, Nespresso Coffee Verrine and Tarostuffed Sweet Potato Mochi. Scones are served classic accompanied with a side of clotted cream and Bonne Maman marmalade. The dessert selection is replete with chef’s choice of assorted macarons and bonbons.
