Celebrating Father’s Day in gastronomic style, Pan Pacific Singapore’s award-winning Cantonese restaurant Hai Tien Lo and gourmet café Pacific Marketplace present an international array of tantalising takeaways to spoil the Man of the H ouse . From 13 to 21 June 2020, diners can select from a six-course Cantonese set menu, refreshing seafood platters, succulent roasts, mouth-watering Indian combo and irresistible Tiramisu cakes.

Cantonese Set Menu from Hai Tien Lo

Masterfully curated by Executive Chef Ben Zeng, Hai Tien Lo’s Six-course Loving Father’s Menu 孝順宴 ( SGD296 for two persons) showcases robust tasting dishes, where homely flavours are gloriously elevated with luxurious accents. Diners can look forward to the nourishing herbal Double-boiled Sea Cucumber Soup 杜仲黑豆海参汤 with Black Beans and ‘Du Zhong’, a medicinal herb that is traditionally used to elevate lower back pain symptoms especially in males. Other noteworthy highlights include a melt-in-your-mouth Pan-fried Wagyu Short Ribs with Scallions in Red Wine Sauce 京葱烧和牛肋佐红酒汁perfect for meat-loving fathers as well as the Steamed Sea Perch with Minced Pork 菜脯肉碎鲈鱼柳 which is prepared with sweet-salty preserved radishes,also known as ‘Chye Poh’, commonly used in classic Chinese omelettes and offering a comforting taste of home.

To commemorate Father’s Day, Executive Pastry Chef Eddy Yau debuts a series of indulgent Tiramisu cakes (SGD78.50) , which can serve as thoughtful gifts to express love and appreciation. Diners can select from the irresistible Classic Tiramisu containing notes of coffee, Kalua and Ameretto, or the tangy Raspberry Tiramisu made with Raspberry Confit and Raspberry Sauce. A rendition created for tea lovers, the Matcha Tiramisu hits the right spots with Matcha sponge and Matcha Chantilly.
Diners can also look forward to feasting on delicious savouries from around the world such as Thai Som Tum Salad with Abalone (SGD68) , Cold Soba Noodles (SGD65) as well as a French-style Fruits de Mer (SGD172, serves four) , a showstopping seafood platter featuring Boston Lobster, Hoso Prawns, Razor Clams and Alaskan King Crab Legs. A must-try for meat lovers are two premium roasts of succulent Slow-roasted U.S Bone-in Prime Ribeye (SGD575, serves six) and “Côte de Bœuf” U.S Prime Ribeye ( SGD275, serves two) . The celebratory repertoire also includes a mouth-watering Indian Set Menu (SGD210, serves six) showcasing tasty traditional delicacies such as Chicken Makhani (Indian Butter Chicken), Kashmiri Rogan Josh (Lamb Curry with Kashmiri Chillies and Mace) as well as Bengal Prawns (Tiger Prawns in Onion Gravy).
