Available from 25 February to 10 March 2021, the specially created Tiffin Room x Samy’s Curry menu brings to the table Indian cuisines from different regions of India, connected by the dedication to retain the authenticity and history of every dish. A part of the legacy of Raffles Hotel Singapore since 1892, well-loved favourites from Tiffin Room are known for their symphony of authentic flavours and traditional cooking techniques.

At Samy’s Curry, the family-run institution’s heartfelt dishes have been passed on from generations, and till today continue to keep to its original recipes and cooking methods. With the collaborative menu rooted in true North and South Indian traditions, this multi-course gastronomic experience delivers a rich, exploratory culinary journey through India’s diverse melting pot of flavours.

 Guests can expect to delight in North Indian signatures by Tiffin Room, alongside a tantalising assortment of South Indian classics by Samy’s Curry, available for both lunch and dinner. Starters Tandoori Prawn and Tulsi Mahi Tikka by Tiffin Room will awaken appetites, setting the stage for guests to indulge in Samy’s Curry favourites like Mysore MuttonChicken Masala, and Fish Curry, made with the institution’s distinctive spice blend, and revel in the Tiffin Room’s delightful signatures Scallops CurryLamb Briyani, and Tiffin Dal Makhani.

An equally sumptuous all-vegetarian option of the Tiffin Room x Samy’s Curry menu is also available for both lunch and dinner. Guests will be treated to Kesari Paneer and Gucchi Mushroom Tikki by Tiffin Room for starters, followed by an alluring array of South Indian classic dishes from Samy’s Curry such as Mock Chicken Curry, Aloo Masala, and Brinjal Curry, as well as a selection of flavourful North Indian signatures such as Soya Chaap Masala, Subz Biryani and Tiffin Dal Makhani, with assorted naan presented by Tiffin RoomA decadent Rajbhog with Chocolate Jalebi sweet treat will cap off the experience for both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian set menus.

North India makes more use of meat and dairy products, whereas the south has a stronger focus on vegetables and seafood. Both Northern and Southern Indian food is known to make use of curry and other strong, spicy dishes. However, Southern India is known to be the spicier of the two.

On 25 February, only the Tiffin Room x Samy’s Curry menu will be made available. From 26 February to 10 March, a limited selection of the regular Tiffin Room à la carte menu will also be made available.
