@zoeysdiner is a new casual fast diner concept that recently opened at CompassOne mall. Providing a modern take on the classic burger, Zoey’s serves its version, affectionately known as Baobae – a fusion of the Chinese bao and western burger. Made fresh daily, the diner offers a number of Baobaes using lightly toasted brioche buns and handmade, dome shaped Baos for a fluffy yet crispy bite.

We recently check out their latest offerings:

Pepper Braised Steak Set : Australian beef short rib, wild rocket, pickled carrot & radish, tomato, black pepper sauce. Side : Signature Fries. Drink: Peach Rose Nectar (add on Aloe Vera). The Australian beef short rib is soft and tender. Wild Rocket is generous and tasty, overall the set is sizeable and satisfying. We get fries for the side and Peach Rose Nectar with Aloe Vera already included.

The Peach Rose Nectar is so far the best out of the 4 drinks we tried, sweet , and plenty of Aloe Vera.

Southern Fried Chicken set: Crispy chicken thigh, coleslaw, tomato, lettuce, housemade garlic aioli

Add-on: Sunny Side up egg, Side : Truffle Fries, Drink: Black Sugar Caramel Milk TEA

The Crispy Deep Fried Chicken Thigh is quite a big piece so it cannot be covered entirely by the soft fluffy buns, which is a good thing. The Black Sugar Caramel milk tea is our second favourite with sweet black sugar caramel and milk tea. Bubble tea lover will love this.

Juicy Beef and Cheese Baobae set: Australian Beef Patty, Lettuce, Tomato, Sliced Cheese, and Garlic Aioli. Addon: Pencil asparagus, Side: Sweet Potatoe Fries, Drink: Black Sugar Caramel Milk TEA

BBQ Mushroom Omelette Baobae set: Mushroom, Omelette, Rocket Salad, Tomato, Hash Brown, BBQ Sauce, Add-on: chicken honey ham, Side:Truffle Fries, Drink: Secret Apple Milk top Tea.

Tomato Cream Chicken Pasta: Diced Chicken Leg, Tomato Cream Sauce, Aged Parmesan Cheese, Parsley

Delicious pasta with plenty of cream sauce, easy to eat and we can imagine this will be popular with adults and children.
