Celebrate the arrival of Spring at One Farrer Hotel, at Escape Restaurant & Lounge.

Ring in the start of festivities by starting off with the Signature Salmon Yu Sheng –with Homemade Ginger Flower & Honey Sauce, Fragrant Osmanthus Oil, it is a toss to prosperity and good fortune! Glam up the dish by topping it off with an addition of baby abalones at only S$48 for 10 pieces. Take a bite into the tender and moist Abundance Mongolian Pork Ribs, meat so tender it falls off the bones. This is served with Broccolini, Superior Sauce, Charcoal Brioche.

 

No Chinese feast is complete without a suckling pig. For the dinner session only, enjoy the Roasted Chinese Suckling Pig with Hoi Sin Sauce, roasted to crackling perfection. To get the good luck rolling your way, don’t forget to go for the Chinese Sausage with Golden Pineapple Pizza, a Chinese twist to the all-time favourite Hawaiian Pizza.

Sweets are important for the Chinese New Year celebrations because it signifies sweet endings for everything you do in the year. Round it off in sweetness with the Rice Bucket with Gold Coin Fondant Cake, ensuring that the year will be over spilling with new opportunities, love, and money. Savour the sweet goodness and the auspicious symbolism behind each of the desserts at Reunion Dinner: Koi Fish of Coconut Jelly, Green Tea Panacotta with Red Bean, Gula Melaka Red Velvet Layer.

If you prefer to dine in the comfort of your own home, some of the above items are also available for takeaway orders. Top up your home-dining feast with the Bountiful Treasures Poon Choi, a pot of overflowing goodness and symbolizing abundance and richness in its multilayers, just like a family, each member as unique and important as the other one. Put together from Chef Marcus Tan’s special concoction of Abalone, Fish Maw, Sea Cucumber, Dried Oyster, Pork Knuckle, Flower Mushroom, Prawn, Roasted Duck, Roasted Pork, Fatt Choy, Cabbage, it is reminiscent of the home recipe that Mum is so proud of.

Chinese New Year is the best time and opportunity for communal dining, an experience that is just different another time of the year.
