ERES | Spring-Summer 2019 Swimsuit – An Invitation to Travel

Playing on the tones of pink sand, green, aztec blue, and shades of the midnight sky, Eres swimwear and lingerie are sophisticatedly designed to celebrate all body types for different occasions under the sea and sun.

Between a heavenly beach and bustling nature, an evening under he starts and a trip to the city, Eres explores all the enchantment of the beautiful season. Conceived by its creator, Marie Paule Minchelli, as an adventure through the most beautiful spots in the world, the Spring-Summer 2019 collection dresses up all silhouettes – even the most secret – of a nomadic woman, simultaneously sporty, elegant, and seductive. A night owl that is also pretty by day.

The design team over at Eres has propriety shapes and colors that are invented each season, yes, but what sets these suits apart from the rest isn’t always the design, rather the exclusive fabric they use: peau douce, which gives the suit a second skin effect, and an ultralight parachute fabric that dries the swimsuit off almost immediately after it leaves the water. These two fabrics, invented and patented by the house, can only be used by Eres.

These suits are tested seriously. Downstairs in their Paris-based design studio, they have the “destroy lab” where each style is tested with the harshest conditions: light, sand, and water, to see what the suit can withstand and how it will wear over time. All of the hardware (anything “extra” that’s put on the suit) is also tested with heat for the same purpose.
