From promenade jogs and Sunday strolls to light brunch sessions and invigorating juice stops, Quayside is an epicentre for the health conscious, and now pets of the neighbourhood can get involved too. In a one of a kind partnership that seeks to build a positive message around the importance of pet diets and keep our dogs’ tails wagging, Quayside is partnering with artisan pet supplier, Talya’s Sorvete to bring a new experience to the area. On the second Sunday of each month, canine owners will be able to visit an animated dog pop-up station to purchase an assortment of dog-friendly ice cream – known as ‘Pupsicles’. The homegrown dog treat merchant is a pioneer in crafting healthy pet snacks to help dogs to combat the summer heat, without piling on the puppy fat!
Starting on Sunday, 14th October from 11.00am onwards, Talya’s Sorvete will introduce the vibrant dog popsicle stall in prime position at Quayside, Robertson Quay. Menu highlights include three nutritious mixes of Blueberry, Honey Mango and Strawberry ice cream Pupsicles ($5) – the ideal hot weather indulgence for dogs of all ages and breeds. Talya’s will also be debuting the newly launched homemade Peanut Butter and Strawberry toppings ($0.70) – both flavours are in line with the brand’s philosophy to be free of preservatives and artificial sugar. Alternatively, the lactose-free delicacies can be purchased in boxes ($15.60) with servings that will feed two hungry pups – perfect for takeaways and working beautifully as a post-walk treat.
With the inclusion of this family friendly festivity, weekends at Quayside will bring together dog owners within the local community. The convivial booth will be located at the main courtyard of Quayside.
Talya’s Sorvete will be at Quayside every second Sunday of the month from 11.00am to 4.00pm. #QuaysidePupClub
