Showcasing modern Australian cuisine since its opening in October 2017, Blackwattle has set the tone in the CBD dining scene by bringing a distinctive culinary experience to Singapore. Besides its five-course set dinner menu, the Amoy Street establishment serves a regularly changing three-course set lunch menu (S$48++) on weekdays – contemporary Australian dining in a fuss-free setting. Exclusively for the months of March and April, group bookings with more than four diners can enjoy a complimentary cheese course at lunch Monday – Thursday and on a Friday, a glass of crisp sparkling on arrival.


Conveniently located in Singapore’s Central Business District, award-winning Australian chef Clayton Well’s first restaurant in Asia utilises the best seasonal produce, combining both regional ingredients with local finds. Curated with a freedom and creativity that translates into the space, diners can opt for the set lunch or select from innovative à la carte options. Starting with welcome snacks, the set lunch menu experience consists of an entrée, main of choice and dessert. The progressive beverage list features pairings beyond wine – including a broad range of sakes, spirits and cocktails.


Blackwattle’s fuss-free, raw interior and upbeat playlist create an energetic gastronomic setting. Designed by local firm Akira Kita Architecture, Clayton Wells worked closely together with the designers to translate his ultimate vision of elevated comfort dining. This concept is showcased with the comfortable, high-quality leather banquettes and moveable furniture pieces of natural local materials. Contributing to overall atmosphere is the staff, who will go above and beyond to meet special dietary preferences and create a satisfying dining experience. The Blackwattle team can speed up or slow down the gastronomic journey, whether a one-hour power lunch or a leisurely wine paired experience.
