MUSEUM’S 130TH ANNIVERSARY
Part of the Sale of the 130 Limited Edition Bangle, Engraved with a Unique Number, to
be donated to the National Museum
Lee Hwa Jewellery, Singapore’s leading contemporary jeweller and a long-standing patron of the National Museum of Singapore, has unveiled two beautiful hand-crafted bangles in celebration of the museum’s 130th anniversary this year, creating modern heirlooms that will inspire generations and last a lifetime. As a longstanding patron of the National Museum of Singapore, Lee Hwa Jewellery is committed to collaborating with and participating in the museum’s varied programmes to deepen its vital role in telling and preserving Singapore’s stories for the future.
Named the Malachite Passion and L.Lazuli Radiance, the bangles’ design
features two hearts at each end and are available in white and yellow gold, each
with its own unique look. Malachite Passion is set in 18k white gold, and
features the powerful and intense malachite that brings out its emerald hues to create the bigger of the two hearts. The smaller heart design is set with three round brilliant cut white diamonds, giving it a delicate shimmer.
The second design, L.Lazuli Radiance, is available in 18k yellow gold and is
completed with a blazing royal blue lapis lazuli heart. This striking piece also has a glittering diamond-studded heart on the opposite end.
Commenting on Lee Hwa Jewellery’s commitment in supporting the National Museum of Singapore, and especially on the occasion of its 130th anniversary, Ms. Wong Mei Wai, Business Director, Aspial and Lee Hwa Jewellery, said, “Lee Hwa Jewellery is honoured to be part of the 130th Anniversary celebration of the National Museum of Singapore and the opportunity to show-case our bespoke craftsmanship through the launch of the Limited Edition bangle series inspired by the museum and its heritage. The museum’s 130th Anniversary celebrations are a great opportunity for us to impart a lasting legacy through jewellery.”
Ms. Angelita Teo, Director of the National Museum of Singapore, said, “As one of
Singapore’s oldest institutions, the National Museum has grown alongside the nation, and has continually evolved to present our history, heritage and culture in new and innovative ways. The valued support from such an established and progressive local brand as Lee Hwa Jewellery is instrumental in ensuring that we continue to keep Singapore’s stories alive for generations to come. We value our partnership with Lee Hwa Jewellery and look forward to further opportunities for collaboration.”
The bangles, priced at $1,130, are on sale now at all Lee Hwa Jewellery boutiques. Part of the sale of the bangles will be donated to the National Museum of Singapore.
