Each aspect of crafting this rare vodka has been meticulously considered, guided by an unwavering pursuit of perfection. From hand-selecting the finest ingredients to meticulously orchestrating the ideal conditions and production process, Belvedere 10 embodies the pinnacle of craftsmanship. Remastered for today’s connoisseurs, this exceptional vodka undergoes a meticulous crafting process, beginning with a single harvest of organic Diamond Rye, expertly rested for ten months to achieve its singular smoothness.

 

 

The Making of Belvedere 10: A 10-Step Journey to Perfection

Belvedere 10’s creation process embodies a commitment to excellence, from seed to sip. Each batch is crafted from one rye, one farm, one field, one harvest, with a meticulous 10-step creation process:

  1. Rye selection – Heritage organic Dankowskie Diamond rye is chosen for its nuanced and refined character. The rye is planted in August, in one field of the Bartężek estate, in Poland’s Masurian Lake District, selected for its perfect growing climate and agricultural excellence. Cultivated using organic and biodynamic practices, nurtured by snow and sun, this field produces a limited yet perfect annual yield.
  2. Harvest – Around a year after planting, at a moment chosen for optimum spirit quality, smoothness and excellence, the rye is harvested.
  3. Heating – The annual batch of rye is gently heated over fire with water, to produce a mash full of character.
  4. Fermentation – In the distillery, Belvedere uses a unique distiller’s yeast and enzymes to help create a rye spirit packed with flavour.
  5. Quadruple distillation – Harnessing the energy of fire, small-batch distillation through copper columns at the Belvedere Distillery in Żyrardów, Poland, is used to elevate the character, depth, and dimension of the rye.
  6. Filtration – Every drop passes through natural cellulose filters, designed to retain the spirit’s clarity and brightness, while enhancing flavour.
  7. Resting – The spirit is rested for 10 months to enhance and develop its exceptional texture and smoothness.

 

Tasting Notes:

  • Aroma: Bright notes of coconut, cacao, and vanilla, with a hint of fresh lemon.
  • Palate: Opulent and creamy, with a light honeyed sweetness and bursts of caramel and green coffee.
  • Finish: Elegant and smooth, with lasting hints of nutty praline and rich dark cacao.

 

Perfect serve: Belvedere 10 is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks, always slightly chilled.
