Celebrate Eggslut Singapore 1st Anniversary with an Egg-stravaganza

Originally from Los Angeles, Eggslut has quickly become a perpetual favorite in Singapore and won over fans with its chef-driven, egg-focused gourmet menu, made only with premium ingredients. A celebration of classic comfort fare with a twist, the humble egg takes center stage in over-the-top sandwiches always punctuated with signature bright yellow eggs.

Eggslut is going all out for its first anniversary with not one but two special gourmet egg-periences in September: a one-day-only chef’s special, and a limited offering menu. Kicking things off is a collaboration with Chef Paul Longworth from Michelin-starred Rhubarb Le Restaurant, available only on 4 September till sold out! For this eggs-tra special occasion, Chef Paul’s decades-long dedication to French cuisine meets Eggslut’s cheeky, gourmet style with Rhubarb’s Sandwich and Popcorn Mousse Slut, together with an optional pairing of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut, which brings a pleasant complexity to enhance the dishes’ flavors.

Chef Paul was both impressed and inspired by Eggslut’s dedication to only using premium quality ingredients, which aligns with his own food philosophy of letting the best ingredients simply shine. The Rhubarb’s Sandwich is his take on Eggslut’s fan-favorite Fairfax sandwich, with a base of cage-free soft scrambled eggs, a layer of light, savory beetroot-cured salmon trout, topped with delicate strands of tangy pickled red onion, fresh arugula, and a gently spiced horseradish sauce in a perfectly warm brioche bun. Take a generous bite out of all the elegant layers for an explosion of aromatic flavors. For the Popcorn Mousse Slut, Chef Paul took his cue from Rhubarb’s signature Emulsion, which changes according to the seasons, and is a warm, comforting almost soup-like dish; a cage-free slow-cooked egg sits atop an earthy carrot pulp, topped with smoky chorizo bits and finished with a buttery popcorn mousse. Dip the crusty thin-sliced baguette into the Slut for a deeply savory experience, where the toasty notes of the popcorn mousse are a highlight.

Next in the egg-niversary line-up is Eggslut Singapore’s first limited-time offering, available only from 9 September until 31 October 2022. The luxurious Avocado & Prawn Sandwich and indulgent Panna Cotta Slut make for a true celebratory duo. For the former, the star of the show are grilled tiger prawns in a garlic chili lime glaze, paired with an over-medium egg, slices of avocado, cheddar cheese, and sweet chili mayo in the classic brioche bun, where the prawns’ sweet, buttery flavors complement the egg’s earthy undertones. The Panna Cotta Slut is Singapore’s first sighting of a dessert Slut, and adorably designed to look just like a coddled egg, with a mango passionfruit sphere on a bed of vanilla and hazelnut panna cotta. Guests are encouraged to pierce the citrusy sphere and gently mix in with spoonfuls of creamy panna cotta, for a lovely play of textures and balance between sweet and flavors.

Eggslut at Scotts Square represents the brand’s first foray into Southeast Asia and joins the ranks of the other restaurants around the world in L.A., Las Vegas, London, Seoul, Tokyo and Kuwait City.
