What feature to look for when buying a 2-in-1 laptop?

We recently reviewed the DELL Latitude 9520 2-in-1 Laptop and explore what it is like working with this laptop for a few weeks.

Conference Call on this laptop is like having your meeting in a large meeting room. This laptop has a beautiful screen, the 15.0″ InfinityEdge screen is extended to the edge to provide maximum work area without the additional weight.

When we first held the laptop on our hands, we noticed the weight. This Latitude is meticulously crafted with CNC aluminum, having the finest details of diamond cut edges and a hair-line brushed finish. The keyboard and touchpad feel as good as they look.

It has Corning® Gorilla® Glass DX on the 2-in-1 and offers premium glass innovation for up to 9% reduction in reflections, so you can work anywhere your job takes you. The screen is more durable with up to 15X better scratch resistance and is nearly 2X less susceptible to cracks compared to Gorilla Glass 5. Super Low Power Panel also helps save battery.

This laptop stays cool under pressure. It can manage thermals within the BIOS, which saves on storage size and allows it to focus on other critical software. Carbon blade fans are used for quieter cooling, so you can focus on your work. Two pipes are better than one for removing heat, and this 2-in-1 laptop has an adaptive thermal response, so they stay cooler on your lap than when on a desk. The heat-reducing graphene paint provides even more cooling.

We noticed it has a new ExpressConnect, which automatically joins the strongest access point in the office and directs bandwidth to critical applications, wherever you work. With Intel® Adaptix™ Technology, it can prioritize your most important apps, so they open faster and perform better. You can get to work faster with the PC proximity sensor enabled by Intel® Context Sensing Technology that detects your presence to instantly wake and log you in via the IR camera and Windows Hello, all without lifting a finger. It locks when you walk away, so your work stays safer. We tested this and it is really seamless when the laptop unlocks when you are in front of it, and locks when you walk away.

Another feature we love is the Dell Optimizer which extends runtime and improves battery performance by adapting to your patterns. ExpressCharge Boost delivers up to 35% charge within 20 minutes, or up to 80% charge within 40 minutes with the new ExpressCharge 2.0.

The ultra-small 60W charger fits easily in your bag and makes charging on the go quick and easy. It has a long real-world battery life and instant wake for an exceptional user experience anywhere.

Using Intel® Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) it delivers nearly 3x faster speeds and next-gen security and wireless networks.

Verdict:

The Dell Latitude 9520 2-in-1 laptop is sleek, sturdy and ready for business. This 2-in1 can handle your workload with ease. With long battery life, several build options, and solid security features, this Dell Latitude 9520 is a portable desktop alternative. It features a beautiful, bright, sharp, colourful 15-inch FHD IPS touchscreen. The Latitude 9520 doesn’t come with a stylus, which should be included for this 2-in-1, especially at this high price point. There are two Thunderbolt™ 4 ports which we appreciate. We love its premium appeal, sturdy design, quality display and above-average audio performance. You can configure this laptop to your specification, and the base model is at S$ 3206.40
