For The Macallan, this is now a reality. Introducing The Macallan at Raffles Hotel Singapore; the ultimate brand experience of remarkable single malt at one of Singapore’s most famous icons.

 

Sharing the enriching stories of one of the world’s most exceptional single malt Scotch whiskies in the first fully immersive and integrated space, is the very reason for the creation of The Macallan at Raffles Hotel Singapore. Opening the doors to public from 26^th October 2020 exclusively at the Raffles Arcade, set amidst the unrivalled elegance of the Raffles Hotel Singapore’s glamourous colonial grandeur.

Presenting The Macallan Experience at Raffles Hotel Singapore; a key highlight of this iconic experiential space that encapsulates the fundamental chapters of the story through engaging and inspiring storytelling, designed by multi-award winning Neuroexperience agency, Rebel & Soul. For a limited period of just four months from 26^th October 2020 to 10^th February 2021, The Macallan Experience will take guests on an immersive, multi-sensorial and memorable whisky journey.

Beginning by taking you deep into the heart of The Macallan, the legendary casks mark the start of the journey.  Here you will feel the heat, the sounds and the vigour captured in the process of cask making by the craftsmen of Jerez de la Frontera in Southern Spain, who have handcrafted every single oak cask to exacting standards.

Moving from the cask journey, you will be captivated by a full sensory exploration of The Macallan. A state-of-the-art Sensory Cinema delivers the pinnacle cinematic tasting experience, taking you deeper into our world with exceptionally memorable moments embedded within awe-inspiring immersive storytelling. Witness moments of commitment and dedication through stories that inspire and bring to life the dedication to creation that has shaped The Macallan’s history and future; the inspiration to choose the risks worth taking. Each ticket to the cinematic tasting experience is priced at SGD$28, and all proceeds from the Sensory Cinema ticket sales will be donated to the Water and Healthcare Foundation (WAH) to help rural communities in Cambodia.

Take a journey through time and immerse in the rich heritage of The Macallan with archival gallery; an ultimate showcase of The Macallan’s rare collections from the archives. Discover an extensive library of some of the oldest and rarest whiskies such as The Macallan 72 Years Old in Lalique, The Macallan in Lalique Six Pillars Collection, Fine and Rare, Masters of Photography and the Raffles Hotel Singapore Edition.

An interactive kinetic art installation inspired by The Macallan Six Pillars created exclusively for The Macallan Experience, brings the stories to life through artistic formations.  Designed collaboratively by award-winning creative technology agency, FutureLabs, this spectacularly innovative creation allows guests to interact with formations as they transition and alter to different shapes representing the nature and craft of the exceptional single malt, The Macallan.

Experience the finest range of exquisite single malts and curated cocktails at a dedicated whisky lounge bringing you into the ultimate world of The Macallan, storytelling and conversations. For  those seeking further exploration, private master classes and tasting experiences are also available to book. To complete the whisky journey, a fine selection of The Macallan whiskies and merchandise, including limited editions and releases will also be available for sale.  Gift wrapping services are available upon request.

In celebration of the long-standing and fruitful partnership with Raffles Hotel Singapore, the two iconic brands proudly present the private VIP Dining Room experience, where a curated and exclusive menu by award-winning chefs, uniquely paired with The Macallan whiskies, will be unveiled every month. Gourmet seekers can look forward tasting the exquisite flavours of The Macallan whiskies alongside cuisine created by Pierre Burgade, Executive Chef of Raffles Hotel Singapore, and his team of Chefs de Cuisine from La Dame de Pic,  藝 yì by Jereme Leung, and Butcher’s Block .
