1-V:U’s progressive Asian restaurant presents menu specials for a contemporary Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day celebrations
Fronted by stunning ocean and sunset views, 1-Group’s latest rooftop multi-concept destination 1-V:U features Day Club and Restaurant focused on progressive land-to-sea Asian cuisine. As Asia’s premier beachfront playground, it continues to redefine the luxe island life with culinary experiences for the upcoming Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day celebrations curated by homegrown Head Chef Ace Tan at its Restaurant.
A Contemporary Chinese New Year Get-Together
From 22 to 31 January 2020 (excluding 24 and 26 January), for dinner from 6pm to 10pm
A brand new decade calls for new traditions. Ring in the new year with an inspired feast this season of reunion, with a lucky six-course Chinese New Year Communal Menu designed for sharing amongst families, friends and colleagues. Specially for the occasion, the menu ($88++ per pax, for minimum 2 pax) explores the fundamentals of Chinese culinary heritage and techniques – such as steaming, searing and simmering – while reflecting the Restaurant’s signature progressive philosophy. Highlights include Tiger Garoupa with Yam and Ice Plant that is served with a silky sauce of Fish Bone and Bitter Gourd Milk, and Spiced Duck with Crisp Grains, Pickles and Thunder Tea Broth.
A “Chirashi-style” Yusheng, with a bountiful spread of salmon, hamachi, botan ebi and tuna, will also reel in all the abundance for a prosperous year ahead. 1-V:U Yusheng ($58++ for 4 to 5 pax, $88++ for 6 to 8 pax) is available at both the Day Club and Restaurant from 22 January to 31 January 2020.
A Romantic Island Rendezvous for Valentine’s Day

Where better to take your romance to new heights than at one of Sentosa’s highest points? For Valentine’s Day, indulge in 1-V:U’s all-inclusive gastronomic experience complete with romantic sunsets and dazzling fireworks. Begin the evening at the Day Club with champagnes and cocktails, and watch the sun dips into the ocean while resident DJ Erica K sets the ambience with her signature mix of sleek, soulful house tunes.
As twilight turns into moonlight, be swept away by a refined Valentine’s Dinner ($120++ per pax) at the Restaurant. The six-course culinary journey is emphasized on foods of desire, such as Irish Oysters with Caviar and Dill Granita, Scallops with Pomelo and Asparagus and a seductive main of MBS 6-7 F1 Wagyu with Shiitake and Shishito.
