“The Singapore Motorshow has perennially been a well-thronged and important motoring event for customers and car enthusiasts to view and experience in close proximity some of the latest and most exciting car models that our brands have to offer,” says Mr Karsono Kwee, Executive Chairman of Eurokars Group. “In addition to Porsche, MINI and Mazda, we are delighted to showcase MG which has undergone a transformation under SAIC Motor – one of the world’s largest car manufacturers – and is once again a motoring force to be reckoned with. We believe that MG is set to write the next chapter of its success story in Asia with Eurokars Group.”
Taking centrestage at the spacious Eurokars Group exhibition area is an exhilarating line-up of vehicles from Porsche, MINI, Mazda and MG. New high-performance models, Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs), and an Electric Vehicle (EV) add variety to the line-up of car models.
“Eurokars Group is proud to partner with our brand principals to feature and display an appealing range of car models at the Singapore Motorshow 2020. Along with the new Porsche Cayenne Coupé; the new MINI Clubman and MINI John Cooper Works Countryman, and the all-new Mazda CX-30 and Mazda CX-8, we are excited to unveil a new EV model – the MG ZS EV,” says Mr Kwee.
With the advent of EVs and their growing popularity in Singapore, Eurokars Group sees immense potential for sustainable mobility in Singapore. Some of the brands that are being represented by the Group will be launching EVs this year. These include the highly anticipated, fully electric Porsche Taycan and the MINI Electric.
Eurokars Group is confident that MG’s attractive EV model pipeline will help to build a strong foothold in the fast-growing EV market, and future-proof and diversify its suite of product offerings.
“We admire MG’s strong motoring heritage and find its direction for plug-in hybrid and EV technology very relevant to the Singapore market. MG fits seamlessly with our current portfolio, and will enable us to tap into a groundswell of interest in EVs, and at the same time, play our part in contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions through the use and adoption of ecofriendly cars,” he adds.
Mr Kwee says, “With four of our brands showcasing some of their finest car models through distinctive and stimulating displays that employ engaging multi-media and multi-sensory elements, Eurokars Group is fully geared up to provide our visitors with a fascinating and memorable experience at the Singapore Motorshow 2020.
