Born in Malaysia where there is a rich food culture and street food influenced by the British colonial era, Chef Leong brings with him over 20 years of culinary experience over the span of his career with well-known hospitality brands and private members’ clubs across Asian countries like Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong. With diverse knowledge of both Western and Asian cuisine, Chef Leong brings sincerity and creativity to the plate, greatly inspired by distinct influences of Penang and Nyonya cuisine which he has grown up with and is most passionate about. Armed with an affable personality and a charming sense of humour, Chef Leong enjoys cooking for his loved ones and spending quality time with his wife and young son who aspires to be a chef too. He also likes to pick up new ideas by browsing through culinary magazines. He feels a sense of satisfaction when guests enjoy his curated dishes which bring back fond memories of the taste of home.
Energetic and aspiring, Chef Ashok likes to discover new perspectives by re-interpreting classic Indian cuisine with accumulated experience of almost a decade across various renowned hotels, specialising in Indian cuisine techniques, team management and menu design for special events. In his free time, Chef Ashok likes to explore creative styles and interesting ingredients to incorporate in his dishes and hopes that everyone will discover more about the culture of Indian cuisine.
