8 December 2018 marks eight glorious years for LeVeL33, the world’s highest urban microbrewery. The mission for this unique concept now remains as clear as they first opened their doors: to provide a good time to their guests in an environment as relaxed as it is elegant, and serve beer, wine, and food that are as spectacular as the Singapore skyline panorama that can be viewed from their outdoor terrace.
As they approach this landmark date, LeVeL33 takes the opportunity to reflect on their efforts and achievements including the inauguration of Brut Beer that LeVeL33 brewed with a champagne yeast shared, for the first time ever in their history, by special partner Barons de Rothschild; and their new culinary focus that not only matches the flavours of the food to the beer, but actually incorporates the elements of the beer into the food itself.
With reflection comes awareness, appreciation and celebration; however, LeVeL33 chooses to celebrate not just themselves but also the business associates who’ve supported them all these years. In turn, LeVeL33 also offer their own support to two very special philanthropic organisations turned partners.
TRANSFORMATION AND PRESENTATION
LeVeL33’s graceful interiors will be transformed so that these partners and associates will have their own space to present their brand and mission, what they represent, and some of the highlights of their catalogues.
Guests will be able to personally view, touch and smell a wide range of produce and wine – much of which will have been or are currently used in LeVeL33’s own menus. This will also allow guests to have a first-hand understanding of the care LeVeL33 takes in choosing what they serve.
This celebratory occasion also provides a platform for LeVeL33 to “pay it forward” in a more generous way than usual. Throughout the last eight years, LeVeL33 has quietly worked with different organisations focused on bettering the circumstances of the more unfortunate in society.
For this – their eighth anniversary, LeVeL33 takes the opportunity to embody the spirit of joyful generosity in a bigger way, especially fitting given that their anniversary falls in the beginning of the Yuletide season.
Both partners of choice – The Food Bank Singapore and Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore – will have a dedicated space to showcase what they’re about, and their mission. Representatives will be available to speak with interested guests, and for those feeling generous, a donation box will be within easy reach.
In addition, LeVeL33 will host an exciting open-bid auction, replete with a bountiful array of prizes sponsored by both LeVeL33 and their partners, to raise funds. This includes:
• a pair of tickets to LeVeL33’s New Year’s Eve party worth $796++
• a limited edition magnum bottle of Brut Beer, a seasonal brew exclusive to LeVeL33 made in-house with champagne yeast entrusted to them by their longtime business partner, Barons de Rothschild, and
• a special LeVeL33 Brewery Tour with the brewer and lunch for 10 persons worth $1000++
100% of all proceeds from this auction will go straight to The Food Bank Singapore and Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore.
WITH OPEN ARMS
This annual celebration of LeVeL33’s birthday is usually a closed door event. However, this year, for the first time ever, a highly limited number of tickets, 40 in total, to this special occasion will be open to members of the public. Ticketholders may rest assured that they will be free to enjoy the festivities the whole evening in addition to the specially conceived menu, and the free-flow of house-brewed beers and wines. A live band will add further flair to the evening.
Moreover, ticket holders have one big advantage: simply by purchasing a ticket, the ticketholder has immediately contributed 15% of what they’ve paid to The Food Bank Singapore and Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore. Once tickets have been purchased, the team will send an e-invite confirming their seat to the ticketholders: this serves as their proof of entry. At LeVeL33, a celebration of their birthday isn’t just about their own achievements, it’s also about counting their blessings, and appreciating friends and partners with joy, grace – and a lot of food, beers and wine!
