Kohaku Tendon Launches Its Very First Tendon with Onsen Tamago

Tendon lovers, Kohaku Tendon has unveiled the Supreme Tendon (S$18.50++)!
This is its first offering to feature onsen tamago. The egg sits alongside a medley of other delicious items: jumbo prawns, squid, chicken, crab stick, vegetables, ikura, onsen tamago and bonito flakes. The Nanatsuboshi rice used is imported from Hokkaido, Japan.
Fluffy and fragrant, each scoop is bound to warm stomachs. Evidently, this exquisite bowl brims with goodness!
There is selection of spicy version too , and we tried it , really spicy.
Each tempura boasts an ethereal and crispy exterior, as it is fried in a blend of high-grade sesame oil and cooking oil. Kohaku utilises a special cooking technology that ensures the oil is kept clean and fresh even after repeated frying. Drenching the tempura is Kohaku’s secret homemade sauce.
Since its inception, Kohaku Tendon has been winning over gourmands with its tendon offerings. Its queues are the longest amongst all other tendon restaurants in Singapore. To cater to different palates, the restaurant has come up with seasonal offerings such as seafood, salmon and mushroom tendons.
