Panko, is a new Kushikatsu bar concept that is under Unlisted Collection of brands which also runs other F&B concepts such as Restaurant Nouri, Bincho at Hua Bee, Pollen and Salted & Hung just to name a few.
Named after the snow-like white breadcrumbs used to coat the food before it is deep-fried, Panko is located in a narrow shophouse that you can enter from either Haji Lane or Arab Street.
Let’s talk about that kushikatsu: it’s a signature dish of Osaka, but chances are you’ve enjoyed this super-casual Japanese treat here in Singapore before. Also known as kushiage, it’s essentially skewers of seafood, meat and vegetables coated in panko crumbs and deep-fried.
