PUNJAB GRILL LAUNCHES DEEPAWALI SPECIAL MENUS AND SWEET BOXES
IN CELEBRATION OF DEEPAVALI
Deepawali or Diwali as it is more popularly known is a special day of celebrations for millions of Indians living all over the world. Traditionally the festival commemorated the home coming of the popular Hindu God, Shri Ram from 14 years of exile but it has since come to symbolize a day of joyous celebrations for all Indians from all walks of life and across all religions. Diwali is known as “The Festival of Lights “ and is now celebrated by Indians worldwide by distributing traditional sweets.
Punjab Grill carry on this tradition of spreading love and cheer through sweets by introducing its very special Mithai boxes and special Diwali Menus. These sweets which come in traditional colourful boxes are available in a 24 piece “ Jannat “ & a two tier “ Royal Mithai box “ with 25 pieces of Mithai and an assortment of Dry fruit .
They offer different varieties of the below sweets for the sweet boxes

There are choices of Veg and Non Veg special Deepawali Menu, we choose the Non Veg menu this time.
We liked the Appertizers especially the Chicken Thigh boneless marinated with Charcoal powder .
The Venison seekh Kebab stuffed with Galbani Buffalo cheese is simply delicious, meat is not too dry and very flavorful .
For the main course we also like the Tandoori Duck Korma, Keema Kateji Pao and Chicken Nihari. Not forgeting Punjab Grill special Dal.
Finish it off with Punjab Grill Dessert Platter , selection of sweets just for the festive season.

Chef Javed Ahamad, the Corporate Chef at Punjab Grill, Singapore is probably the premier exponent of creating unique Indian dishes for the Singaporean palate. Chef Javed has spent more than 11 years in various Indian restaurants in Singapore.
He is credited with introducing a variety of firsts to the Singapore market – including Singapore’s first Indian style champagne brunch, the first Ayurveda based menu and a variety of other themed menus. He has a unique grasp on Indian as well as International cui-sines and his special skills lie in making Indian dishes with unique ingredients. His creation of the unique Tandoori Foie-Gras made it to I S Magazine’s list of 50 things to eat before you die. His con-stant thirst for learning and perfecting has helped him and Punjab Grill win a variety of awards and accolades from a variety of sources like restaurant association of Singapore, Time Out, Wine&Dine Magazine, Wine and Cuisine Asia, Peak Magazine, Sphere Culinary Challenge to name just a few.
