Celebrate the Sake season in Singapore with an exciting Sake event held on Oct 1st. Last year there was a total of 100 attendance in Tower Club Singapore, and approximately 77,000 people celebrating this in Japan & overseas. Media Japan Pte Ltd which publishes OISHII magazine, will be organizing the 4th annual OISHII KANPAI event this year. OISHII KANPAI will be held at M Social Hotel’s Beast and Butterflies, with the aim to promote and share the cultural essence of Japanese Sake to Singaporeans.
<Main Event> (Oct 1st) OISHII KANPAI @ M Social Hotel, Beast and Butterflies
1st October is considered as the beginning of Sake brewing season. It is called the Day of Sake or Day of Kanpai, (a toast in Japanese). At this event, guests will celebrate the start of sake season together by a sampling over 20 different types of sake, paired wonderfully with Chef Bryce Li’s 10 Asian fusion dishes. About 7 types of Sake has not been sold in Singapore yet! Representatives from SAKEMARU distributor, Okazaki and Kanemitsu brewers, Tawaraya and Epicurean Nomads will be present to share their knowledge on the individual sakes and on sake pairing. During the Kanpai cheer, there will be a LIVE video screening of the other associated restaurants in Singapore and Japan cheering on “Kanpai” to usher in the season of sake merriment.
