Porsche Singapore introduces the new Cayenne Electric range with spectacular debut at Singapore EXPO

Porsche Singapore has unveiled the new Cayenne Electric range in Singapore with a captivating performance featuring silk dancers and live drummers, brought to life by dazzling light and atmospheric effects at Singapore EXPO, attended by more than 700 customers, business partners and media representatives. Porsche’s latest all-electric SUV combines signature sports car performance, everyday practicality and long-distance comfort with pioneering electric technology, while offering customers in Singapore a choice of both variants and options, alongside both SUV and Coupé body styles.

“The new Cayenne Electric represents a defining moment for Porsche,” said Dr. Henrik Dreier, Director Importer Singapore at Porsche Asia Pacific. “It brings together everything customers expect from a Cayenne – outstanding performance, everyday versatility and genuine long-distance capability – while opening a new chapter of electrification for the model line. We are delighted to celebrate its arrival in Singapore together with our customers, partners and the wider Porsche community.”

The Cayenne goes electric – but remains unmistakably a Porsche
For more than two decades, the Cayenne has defined the sports SUV segment by combining Porsche driving dynamics with exceptional practicality. With the introduction of the all-electric fourth model generation, Porsche has reimagined the Cayenne for a new era while preserving the qualities that have made it one of the brand’s most successful model series worldwide.

The new Cayenne Electric expands Porsche’s strategy of offering customers maximum freedom of choice, complementing the existing Cayenne models powered by emotional internal combustion engines and efficient plug-in hybrid powertrains.

Developed on an advanced 800-volt architecture, the Cayenne Electric delivers a new dimension of performance and efficiency. The model introduces a newly developed high-voltage battery with a gross energy content of 113 kWh, integrated directly into the vehicle structure to optimise packaging, rigidity and centre of gravity. An innovative thermal management system provides cooling from both above and below the battery, ensuring consistently high performance in all conditions.

Charging performance of up to 400 kW allows the high-voltage battery to charge from 10 to 80 per cent state of charge in less than 16 minutes under ideal conditions. The 800-volt battery can also be split into two independent 400-volt banks, enabling dual-bank charging at 200 kW where suitable infrastructure is available, further enhancing battery resilience, charging flexibility and reducing charging times.

Finally, the system is equally impressive while driving, with recuperation output of up to 600 kW – with technology derived directly from Porsche’s Formula E race cars.

In Singapore, the Cayenne range begins with the Cayenne Electric, which delivers up to 325 kW (435 HP) and 835 Nm of torque with Launch Control. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 230 km/h, while offering a WLTP range of up to 642 km.

At the top of the model family sits the Cayenne Turbo Electric, currently the most powerful production Porsche ever built. With up to 850 kW (1,140 HP) and 1,500 Nm of torque available with Launch Control, it sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 260 km/h.

Positioned between the Cayenne Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric, the Cayenne S Electric produces up to 490 kW (657 HP) with Launch Control, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h, while offering a WLTP range of up to 653 km.

A key technical highlight across the higher-performance variants is the adoption of direct oil cooling for the rear electric motor – another innovation inspired by Porsche’s Formula E race car, the 99X Electric. Unlike conventional cooling systems, heat is dissipated directly from the current-carrying components, enabling higher continuous performance and greater efficiency during sustained high-load driving.

Further contributing to performance capabilities is a rear-axle pulse inverter that uses silicon carbide semiconductors and processes currents of up to 620 Amperes. Together, these technologies help deliver the consistent, repeatable performance expected of a Porsche.

Comfort, performance and everyday usability without compromise
A defining characteristic of the new Cayenne Electric is its breadth of capabilities. Like every Cayenne before it, the new electric SUV has been engineered to perform equally convincingly as a performance sports car, family SUV, long-distance touring machine and off-road companion.

Standard adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) contributes to the model’s broad range between driving dynamics and ride comfort, while optional rear-axle steering improves both agility in urban environments and stability at higher speeds.

Available as an option, the Porsche Active Ride suspension system on selected models (Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo Electric) further enhances capability by actively controlling individual wheel loads and keeping the body level during acceleration, braking and cornering, resulting in an unprecedented balance between comfort and dynamic precision.

Beyond dynamic performance, the new Cayenne Electric offers unprecedented opportunities for personalisation. Customers can choose from more than 110,000 personalisation possibilities over a broad range of interior environments, including monotone and bi-tone leather combinations in new colours such as Lavender and Delgada Green, Club Leather finishes, as well as Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur or even Sonderwunsch options.

A large Panoramic Roof, available as an option on the SUV, enhances the sense of space throughout the cabin. Customers can additionally opt for Variable Light Control with their Panoramic Roof, further enhancing comfort with electro-chromatically adjustable light strips, instantly changing the cabin atmosphere.

The new Porsche Driver Experience with Flow Display creates the largest digital display landscape ever seen in a Porsche. Combined with AI-enhanced connectivity, intuitive controls and extensive customisation possibilities, it delivers a uniquely modern interpretation of the Porsche cockpit.
In Singapore, the Cayenne Electric range comes with additional standard equipment: for example, Digital Key, Automatic Parking with 2D Surround View, a BOSE® Surround Sound system, and a choice of additional colours such as Mystic Green, Algarve Blue, Napali Blue as well as Madeira Gold at no additional cost.

Optional systems like Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) and Push-to-Pass further expand the dynamic capabilities on selected models across the Cayenne Electric range.

Available as an SUV or an expressive Coupé
The all-electric Cayenne is also available in the striking Coupé body style in Singapore, giving customers an even broader choice within the model range.

Inspired by the iconic silhouette of the 911, the Cayenne Coupé Electric features a distinctive flyline that sweeps elegantly towards the rear, creating a more emotional and sporting interpretation of the electric SUV.

The design offers more than visual appeal. Thanks to its aerodynamic profile, the Cayenne Coupé Electric achieves a drag coefficient of just 0.23, compared with 0.25 for the SUV. This aerodynamic advantage contributes to even greater efficiency and extends the WLTP driving range by up to 18 kilometres compared with equivalent SUV variants.

The Cayenne Coupé Electric model family comprises the same three variants as the SUV — Cayenne Coupé Electric, Cayenne S Coupé Electric and Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric — each pairing the characteristic styling of the Coupé with the full performance capability of the Cayenne Electric platform. In Singapore, the Cayenne Coupé also comes standard with the Sport Chrono package, Rear-Axle Steering and a fixed Panoramic Roof.

Despite its sportier silhouette, the Coupé remains highly practical. It offers a luggage compartment with up to 1,347 litres of storage volume (Cayenne Electric SUV: up to 1,511 litres) and a 90-litre front luggage compartment.
