20 Breast Cancer Warriors to Grace the Runway at Breast Cancer Foundation’s Annual Event “Courage Catwalk 2025 – A Cultural Mosaic of Courage”

In conjunction with International Women’s Day on 8 March 2025, Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) today announced the return of its iconic annual event, Courage Catwalk, happening on Friday, 7 March 2025. The event’s second edition is presented by Solis Breast Centre, and features a bigger and bolder theme – A Cultural Mosaic of Courage.

This full-fledged fashion show, featuring 20 breast cancer survivors, or “Pink Warriors” taking to the catwalk, boasts a programme showcasing four unique runway segments – Chinese, Malay, Indian, and International – each celebrating Singapore’s myriad cultures, through bespoke designs by six local designers from the LASALLE College of the Arts:

Jocelynne Pricilia Cantona, 22 – International Segment
Iris Zulfa, 25 – Malay segment
Keya Prajapati, 22 – Indian segment
Wu Chuyue, 26, Alison Oh Jing Rou, 25, and Ni Siting, 24 – Chinese segments

Each designer’s work will incorporate traditional motifs and colors representing their cultural significance.

Celebrating Unique Cultures, Strength and Resilience

With twice as many catwalkers rocking the runway this year as its inaugural edition in 2024, Courage Catwalk promises to celebrate and empower breast cancer warriors and the wider community. The event aims to showcase the transformative power of fashion, art, and storytelling as tools for unity and resilience.

Expression Through Fashion

In addition to the collection designed by the LASALLE College of the Arts designers, the event will feature hair styling by Shunji Matsuo, makeup by Bobbi Brown from The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC), and accessories sponsored by local label Miao Atelier.

Community Building & Fundraising

Beyond the glitz and glamour of the event, BCF is also bringing the community together to make a difference. With tickets priced at S$150 per pax, Courage Catwalk aims to raise funds to support its 2025 breast cancer initiatives, ensuring continued support for breast cancer survivors in Singapore.

During the event, guests will enjoy a four-course dinner of delectable Western cuisine. The event will also include vibrant performances by professional dancers from Kaizen M.D., Maya Dance Theatre, The Brass Barre, Breathe Dance Co, and Omkar Arts.
