CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY IN STYLE THIS MARCH AT THE LOBBY LOUNGE, SHANGRI-LA SINGAPORE 

The Lobby Lounge at Shangri-La Singapore invites guests to honour International Women’s Day with a sophisticated and thoughtfully curated three-tiered high tea set. Available exclusively from March 1 to March 31, 2024, this elegant high tea experience aims to celebrate the achievements of women and advocate for gender equality.

For the fourth year, Shangri-La Singapore partners with local non-profit organisation United Women Singapore (UWS) in advancing their efforts in women’s empowerment and gender equality. For every Inspire Inclusion high tea set and Royal Lavender Earl Delight cake sold, Shangri-La Singapore will donate SGD 5 to UWS and the proceeds will support its UWS Girls Empowered Programme through a combination of talks and hands-on workshops to equip young women between the age of 12 to 25 years old with the skills, knowledge and confidence to overcome challenges and achieve their fullest potential in all spheres of their lives. It is aimed to enhance employability and competitiveness, be resourceful and cultivate independence and self-sufficiency, advocate for person well-being and widen their network.

 

INSIPIRE INCLUSION HIGH TEA

In the spirit of this year’s International Women’s Day theme, Inspire Inclusion, the high tea set draws inspiration from the UWS brand colours of purple and orange, The Lobby Lounge presents the Insipire Inclusion high tea set which consists of a selection of sweet and savoury treats in pretty hues of purple and orange. Guests can enjoy this lavish experience amidst the elegant setting of The Lobby Lounge from 1 to 31 March 2024, between 3pm and 5pm daily.

Priced at SGD 98++, this exclusive high tea experience is good for two persons, which includes two hot beverages and is offered in Regular and Vegetarian options.  

Royal Lavender Earl Delight Cake 

Another highlight creation in celebration of International Women’s Day is the Royal Lavender Earl Delight Cake, an embodiment of strength, grace, and resilience. Skillfully crafted by an accomplished pastry chef, the cake showcases layers of opulence and elegance.

Indulge in the delicate flavours of Earl Grey Jiva Mousse, perfectly balanced with the floral essence of Lavender Crème Brulee, all embraced by the softness of Purple Velvet Sponge. Each bite is enriched with the delightful crunch of Crispy Hazelnut Praline, adding a delightful contrast to the smooth textures.
