From January 21 to February 24, 2024, both venues unfolded a culinary tapestry that beautifully blended traditional Cantonese classics with innovative hand-crafted dishes, creating a symphony of flavours for the Lunar New Year festivities.
Our journey began with an anticipation heightened by the Goodies and Takeaway Set Menus, available for pre-booking from December 26, 2023. This thoughtful initiative allowed us to savour the festive delights with options for delivery or self-collection starting January 2024.
Entering the realm of prosperity, abundance, and wealth, the Lunar New Year Chinese cuisine spread at Jia He Chinese Restaurant and Jia He Grand was a visual and gustatory delight. Ranging from $1188++ to $1688++ for 10 persons, these set menus showcased the culinary prowess of the chefs, with a lunch option available at $988++ for 10 persons.
Our culinary journey reached its climax with the specially curated menu. The Prosperity Five Auspicious Blessings “Yu Sheng” initiated the feast, setting the tone for the evening. The Double-boiled Buddha Jump Over the Wall with Red Ginseng warmed our souls, while the Steamed Australia Lobster with Sea Urchin in Egg White and Chinese Wine was a celestial dance of flavors.
The Poached Sliced Spotted Garoupa with Wild Mushroom and Superior Lobster Soup provided a harmonious blend of textures and aromas. The Roasted Suckling Pig with Australian 3 Head Abalone, Fried Rice with Yam and Sakura Shrimp was a grand finale that left us longing for more.
