The highly anticipated moment has arrived for musical enthusiasts in Singapore. Producers Jeffrey Seller and Michael Cassel are delighted to announce that the Tony®, Grammy®, Olivier, and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, HAMILTON, will premiere in Singapore in 2024.

This groundbreaking musical will commence its Singapore run on 19 April 2024 at the renowned Sands Theatre, located at Marina Bay Sands, and will be presented by Base Entertainment Asia. Ticket sales are scheduled to begin on 14 November through Marina Bay Sands ticketing and SISTIC. Following its sold-out debut in Manila in September, Singapore is the third city to host HAMILTON’s first-ever international tour, with an upcoming season slated for Abu Dhabi in January.

HAMILTON originally graced Broadway stages to resounding critical and audience acclaim. Since then, it has dazzled audiences in London’s West End, Australia, Germany, and New Zealand, before embarking on its groundbreaking international tour that included stops in the Philippines and Abu Dhabi before reaching Singapore.

The musical’s score, a fusion of hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and Broadway, has transformed the narrative of American founding father Alexander Hamilton, creating a revolutionary moment in theatre that has left an indelible mark on culture, politics, and education.

Penned by Lin-Manuel Miranda, with direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, HAMILTON draws inspiration from Ron Chernow’s highly acclaimed biography. It narrates the story of America’s past through the lens of the present.

Since its explosive debut, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s global phenomenon has captivated audiences worldwide, earning a plethora of accolades including 11 Tony Awards®, seven Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album.
