STAY GOLD FLAMINGO CELEBRATES LOCAL TALENT AND MUSIC WITH REMY MARTIN 1738 ACCORD ROYAL

Rémy Martin, one of Cognac’s best-known producers, celebrated #TeamUpForExcellence on Sunday, 31 July 2022, with a takeover at Stay Gold Flamingo, a modern classic bar with a rock n roll attitude. The evening brought together local media, industry players and musicians to shine a spotlight on their ambitious pursuit of artistic expression and excellence.

With the Stay Gold Flamingo team helming the bar, guests were treated to an array of cocktails featuring the elegant cognac Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal. Each cocktail served was inspired by the up-and-coming Singaporean musicians, AFROJUNIOR, Axel Brizzy, Esta C, and Louie Indigo featured in the ‘A Toast to Ambition’ film. Guests were also invited to enjoy a live DJ performance by SHANE2SWEET and live performances by the artists themselves in the spirit of #TeamUpForExcellence.

As part of the series, Stay Gold Flamingo, for the next four weeks, will feature one of their artist-inspired cocktails for the public to savour and feel part of the harmonious collaboration of music and Cognac. Rémy Martin’s 1738 Accord Royal continues to evoke a taste for the finer things in life and is composed of Eaux-de-vie exclusively from vineyards of Cognac, Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne. The liquid has a distinctive oaky flavour due to the long, soft barrel toasting that brings out the subtle notes of vanilla and brioche. With wide grains that permit more exchanges between the wood and the Eaux-de-vie, the casks are constructed from oak found in the forests of Limousin and accentuate this distinctively woody profile, resulting in a broader and deeper aromatic development.

Home bartenders can also toast to Singapore’s 57^th birthday this month by recreating the centenary-old classic cocktail the Sidecar using the ideal measures recommended by Rémy Martin: three parts Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal, two parts Cointreau and one part lemon juice.
