Porsche Singapore introduces the Sport Turismo models to the Panamera family
Singapore. Porsche Singapore announced the addition of three Sport Turismo models under its newly revamped Panamera series, providing new breadth to the Porsche line-up for customers seeking a sportier driving experience. The extension of the model range will also include a plug-in hybrid version of the Sport Turismo.
The extended models in the series – Panamera 4 Sport Turismo, Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo and Panamera GTS Sport Turismo – are now available to order from Porsche Centre Singapore at the following retail prices which include GST, registration costs and Vehicular Emissions Scheme (VES) rebate:
Panamera 4 Sport Turismo: SGD408,388*
Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo: SGD457,388*
Panamera GTS Sport Turismo: SGD670,588*
Panamera customers will enjoy the same complimentary and comprehensive five-year maintenance and warranty programme offered for all Porsche cars by Porsche Centre Singapore. Customers can opt to extend the vehicle warranty for up to fifteen years.
Everyday usability with maximum flexibility
The Panamera Sport Turismo models maintain the athleticism and performance of its sedan siblings. Offering the perfect combination of everyday usability and maximum flexibility, the long-roof design is a more spacious option for customers who desire a Panamera with increased baggage capacity, a rear seat with more compartment versatility and a lower loading edge for easier use.
Pure sports performance with enhanced features
The Panamera GTS Sport Turismo will carry the V8 biturbo engine, optimised with a specific focus on its power delivery. With 353 kW (480 PS) and 620 Nm, the new Panamera GTS delivers 15 kW (20 PS) more power than its predecessor.
The Panamera 4 Sport Turismo uses a 2.9-litre V6 with a twin turbocharger, delivering the same performance of 243kW (330PS) and 450Nm as its base counterpart.
Additionally, the Sport Turismo models will utilise all of the innovations introduced in the brand new Panamera model line launched earlier this year, including the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system, the integrated Porsche 4D Chassis Control, as well as enhanced steering control.
Dynamic appearance with an even sportier look
On top of the increased luggage capacity, customers who opt for the Sport Turismo range will also be able to enjoy as standard the previously optional Sport Design front end with striking air intake grilles, large side cooling openings and a single-bar front light module.
Furthermore, the newly tuned chassis and a new 20 and 21-inch tyre generation will also intensify the driving experience and provide an extra visual dynamism to the sporty saloon.
Improved electric driving experience
Porsche is systematically extending its E-performance strategy with the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo, offering a completely new drive system with 340 kW (462 PS) system output. Compared to the previous hybrid models, the gross battery capacity has been increased by close to 30 per cent thanks to a new 17.9kWh battery and optimised driving modes. The driving modes have been optimised for even more efficient energy utilisation.
At the heart of the drive architecture is the electric motor, which is integrated into the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK) and still produces a power output of 100 kW (136 PS) and maximum torque of 400 Nm. Together with the different combustion engines offered, this makes for outstanding driving performance.
The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid has an all-electric range of up to 55km in accordance to WLTP EAER City (NEDC: up to 64km), taking just 4.4 seconds (-0.2 s) to reach 100 km/h from a standing start on its way to a top speed of up to 280 km/h (+2 km/h). The installation space for the battery beneath the load compartment floor remains compact, providing spacious luggage volumes from 418 to 1,287 litres.
Comfort and sportiness both benefit from the enhanced chassis components and control systems in combination with the new generation steering control and tyres.
Like all Porsche plug-in hybrid vehicles, the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Sport Turismo can be charged at home. A model-specific charging capacity of up to 7.2kW is possible with the standard Porsche Mobile Charger. In addition, it can be charged at public charging stations islandwide or the Porsche Destination Charging stations located at Marina Bay Sands. More stations are expected to be operational by this year.
