The concept is presented by Singapore’s leading nightlife and restaurant group 1-Group, and is the sister brand of their award-winning rooftop hotspot 1-Altitude. For the first time, 1-Group brings the signature 1-Altitude experience of A-list parties, gastronomic dining experiences and nightlife entertainment from the city to the beach with 1-V:U.

 

At 1-V:U, it’s all about taking the time to soak up the sun and celebrate every one of life’s moments. From partying and lounging at the Day Club to a fun casual meal at the Restaurant, it is a one-stop social destination designed for parties to go on all day and into the night.
At the heart of 1-V:U’s culinary concept across the Day Club and Restaurant is progressive Asian cuisine. Inspired by the land and sea of the region, familiar Asian flavours are reinterpreted in the creative mind of Singaporean Chef Ace Tan (formerly the Executive Chef of Singapore’s progressive Asian concept Restaurant Ards). With past experiences at top restaurants like Les Amis, Pollen and Bacchanalia, Chef Ace combines his classically trained techniques with his playful approach and passion for innovative Asian cuisine.
 

On arrival, a wrap-around terrace welcomes you to the stunning ocean view and out onto the luxurious Day Club, where the finest of day-to-night entertainment awaits. The open-air oasis boasts a sparkling infinity pool accompanied by vibrant sun beds and private cabanas.
Pulsing in the air is its sleek and cerebral brand of dance music that weaves in deep house, soul, nu-disco, vocal house and jackin house. The multi-genre music program is curated by 1-V:U’s Music Director and Resident DJ Sherpa, a familiar face of international music festivals and clubs with over 26 years of experience and is known for his unique creative spin of electronic music.
Daily as the sun sets, let resident DJs Sherpa and Kaylova take you on a blissed-out trip with the Day Club’s signature Soul Therapy Session. Combining soulful melodies and electrifying rhythm, their exclusive edits and original mixes will fill the dance floor with addictive beats to party from day to night. On the weekends, the decks come alive with brunch and afternoon parties, and club revelers can also look forward to monthly pool parties featuring international guest DJs and live performances.
The good vibes by the stellar selection of DJs are amplified to the highest level at 1-V:U, through its state-of-the-art sound system from Pequod Acoustics. The high-end Italian audio designer is a DJ-favourite and is known for their special customisation to deliver a fully immersive sound experience. 1-Group is the first to bring this next level of sound to Asia.

 

As the music flows, sip on Asian-inspired cocktails such as Moonlight Swizzle, a tropical thirst-quencher of gin, white grape and kaffir lime. Dig into creative feel-good bites packed with Asian influences like Loaded Chips with Kombu Truffle Oil, Sherry Vinegar, Grated Parmesan and Truffle Aioli Dip ($12), Wagyu Burger on Brioche Bun with Scrambled Eggs, Kimchi Slaw, Bacon and Black Garlic Cream ($34) and Loaded Prawns Pizza with Poached and Tempura Prawns, Sakura Ebi, Béchamel, Avocado and Ebiko Ponzu Aioli ($25).
