Jacada Travel Presents ‘DEPARTURES TO THE LAST WILDERNESS’ | A Series of Exclusive Trips with Record-Breaking Freediver Hanli Prinsloo

Jacada 1

For the first time ever, Jacada  Travel  is launching an exclusive  series of set departure trips.  In collaboration  with  record-breaking  freediver,  Hanli  Prinsloo,   the  trips   combine  mastering freediving with Prinsloo while being taken on journeys curated by Jacada Travel across Africa, the South Pacific, and America.

From a cultural Maori welcome in secluded woods and private yachting in Marietas Islands (Islas Marietas),  to searching  for lemurs in remote Madagascar  and a journey through time allowing travellers to sample Cuban rum and cigars,  Jacada has put together some of the most authentic experiences possible.

Adding on to these exclusive experiences, travellers will also freedive with Prinsloo in some of the world’s   most  pristine   locations   including  Niue,  Madagascar   and  Mexico.   There,  they  will encounter fascinating  marine life such  as  humpback whales,  whale sharks,  sea  lions and fish tornadoes.  Before embarking on dives, Prinsloo will tech yoga and breathing techniques that have helped her set 11 freediving records in South Africa.

The idea of  Departures  to The Last Wilderness   comes  from the deep connection Jacada  Travel and Prinsloo have with the environment, and their dedication to share this passion with travellers. These trips aim at creating unforgettable memories and raise further awareness on conservation.

Alex Malcolm, Founder and Managing Director of Jacada Travel, says: “We at Jacada Travel are aware that we have a great responsibility to make travel an uplifting experience for everyone, from travellers  to the people they  meet at their destination.  Travel  has  the power to be immensely positive for everyone, if it’s conducted responsibly.”

He adds that Jacada Travel has partnerships with hotels, camps and lodges which support local communities, act to preserve the environment, and work on low-impact models. Prinsloo is the first freediver and conservationist to lead expeditions linked to Jacada Travel itineraries.

“To meet the growing demand for special experiences, we have been searching for the perfect partner,” says Mr Malcolm. “Today, we are finally happy to announce our collaboration with Hanli Prinsloo, who is a world-class diver and who shares the same values in conservation.  These trips are the perfect opportunity for guests to experience the last wilderness, in the oceans and on land, and understand the importance of preserving it.”
