With Father’s Day (Sunday 17^th June 2018) fast approaching, Hidden Door Concepts unveils distinctive gourmet offerings at its restaurants to celebrate all Dads. Whether the number one man in your life is a true burger maniac or an early bird who loves a wholesome breakfast, the progressive group behind successful F&B venues in the Singapore dining scene present fun culinary initiatives as everyone knows there is only one way to a man’s heart! 

 

1. NORDIC FLAVOURS 

SEAR Steakhouse curated a special Nordic 3-course set lunch menu which features premium fresh produce that is grilled to perfection on its PIRA charcoal oven – ranging from seared scallops to wood-smoked brisket. The lunch is only available on Father’s Day and ends with Swedish cloudberries with caramelised pears, yoghurt, vanilla, roasted nuts, milk sorbet and iced carrots (as pictured). For the optimal celebration, guests can opt for the 2-hour free flow (S$40++).

2. SIP & SLURP EXPERIENCE

Located in Singapore’s bustling CBD, Angie’s Oyster Bar is serving a special deal leading up to Father’s Day which includes three types of premium oysters paired with three types of international craft beers (S$25++) – the ultimate surprise for seafood lovers! Matched by magnificent city views, all sophisticated superheros will be satisfied with this special Sip & Slurp experience.

3. PUT YOUR PADRE TO THE TEST

The fun Mexican joints Lower East Side 45 and Lower East Side Katong unveil a special tasting set with 5 chalupitas topped with tender turkey, green sauce, coriander and onions (S$18++). To spice up the Father’s Day celebration this year, diners can put their Dads to the test with a special challenge. Every father that finishes the chalupitas with the Mexican habanero chilli pepper – known for its spiciness – will get the set complimentary and receive an official certification.

For the not so adventurous, Lower East Side 45 will be serving a limited-edition Padre Platter (S$40++) leading up to Father’s Day, consisting of delectable seafood – including barramundi yuzu ceviche, sautéed prawns, tempura hake fish and a spicy seafood paella, which can be enjoyed by up to 4 persons.

4. FATHER’S DAY FRY UP

Neighbourhood hangouts Nickeldime River Valley and Nickeldime Novena are serving a unique brunch fry up leading up to Father’s Day which lets all Dads enjoy a comforting culinary experience. Consisting of fried eggs, white pudding, champ potatoes, roasted slab bacon and homemade soda bread, it’s a breakfast of champions! 5. DOUBLE UP FOR DAD

The week leading up to Father’s Day, a limited-edition Bacon Cheeseburger is available at vibrant Pigsfly Novena and Pigsfly Katong. The burger consists of a smashed beef patty, grilled bacon, cheese, tomato, fried egg and Burger Office’s secret sauce. To spoil all Dads, the neighbourhood joints will be serving all fathers a free double patty on Sunday 17^th June 2018.
