The Chinese New Year menu is the brainchild of Ms Lee, who boasts over 13 years of experience in preparing vegetarian cuisines. She has successfully launched two vegetarian concepts in the local market — namely Lotus Kitchen and Lotus Vegetarian. The former doles out contemporary Chinese dishes and local favourites, while the latter purveys over 100 vegetarian buffet dishes daily. Ms Lee has a penchant for mixing different herbs to create new aromatic blends as well as using homemade sauces and spices to whip up authentic local and Taiwanese vegetarian dishes. Her culinary achievements include numerous accolades such as Singapore’s Top 100 Signature Dish Award & Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards 2004-2005 for Lotus Vegetarian restaurant.
Both restaurants will be open throughout Chinese New Year, and will be offering the Chinese New Year menu from 9 February to 2 March for Lotus Vegetarian Quality Hotel, and 14 February to 2 March for Lotus Kitchen Chinatown Point.
Breaking the stereotypes of bland tasteless vegetarian food with an amazing variety of delicious and healthy creations, head over to both restaurants this year for a nutritious and sumptuous Chinese New Year feast.
