Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore invites guests to indulge in the bold, rich flavours of the season with the return of its much-anticipated Durian Buffet, alongside a celebratory SG60 National Day dining experience that pays tribute to the nation’s beloved culinary heritage. Taking place at Food Capital and The Lobby Lounge, these limited-time promotions showcase local flavours, seasonal ingredients, all set against the hotel’s tranquil ambience by the riverside.
The Return of the Durian Buffet: 14 July – 31 August 2025
Returning for its fourth year due to popular demand, the Durian Buffet launches on 14 July and runs through 31 August 2025. A celebration of the iconic Musang King Durian—the buffet invites guests to enjoy an alfresco experience featuring free-flow freshly cut durians at a lively outdoor station, available exclusively during dinner. Inside, guests can indulge in a creative spread of durian-infused dishes that bridge local tradition with global culinary influences. Highlights include the Gratin Parmigiana Durian, Roasted Seabass with Durian Beurre Blanc, Durian Laksa, and sweet treats like Durian Gula Melaka Kueh Dadar and Fresh Durian Crème Brûlée. Alongside these inventive creations, the buffet features a full selection of international seafood, salads, and Asian favourites to round out a truly indulgent feast. Lunch is priced at $72++ per adult and $36++ per child and is available from Monday to Saturday. Dinner is priced at $118++ per adult and $59++ per child from Sunday to Thursday, and $128++ per adult and $64++ per child on Friday and Saturday. Children 5 and under dine for free. The outdoor live durian station is available during dinner only.
In addition to the extensive SG60 Durian Fiesta offerings, Grand Copthorne Waterfront will also play host to new durian-inspired ice cream flavours by renowned local brand Udders, presented fresh at Food Capital’s dessert live station during the launch event on 15 July. Guests will be among the first to savour Udders’ brand new creations, Durian Cheesecake, a decadent blend of rich cream cheese and aromatic durian, and Durian Pengat, crafted with over 30% real durian flesh, fragrant coconut cream and pandan. They will also be treated to Udders’ iconic ultra-premium bestseller, Emperor Mao, made with 54% pure Mao Shan Wang. Udders’ Durian Cheesecake, Durian Pengat and Chendol ice creams will be served on a rotational basis at the dessert live station throughout the buffet period.

SG60 National Day Promotions: 8 – 10 August 2025
From 8 to 10 August 2025, the hotel also presents a special SG60 National Day buffet in celebration of Singapore’s 60th year of independence. Held at Food Capital, the buffet offers a vibrant and nostalgic tribute to the nation’s culinary legacy with festive décor and generous pricing. Highlights include inventive dishes like Hainanese Chicken Rice Risotto, Laksa Mac and Cheese, and Chilli Crab Pasta, alongside classics such as Singapore Chilli Crab with Mantou, White Pepper Chilli Crab, Black Pepper Slipper Lobster, Salted Egg Yolk Prawns, and Crispy Whole Garoupa with Kiam Hiong Sauce.
During this period, the first diner enjoys lunch at $82++ or dinner at $128++, while the second diner dines at a special promotional rate—just $6++ for lunch and $60++ for dinner. The lunch promotion is only available for 8 and 9 August, and is not applicable for the 10 August brunch. Children aged 6 to 11 can enjoy the spread at $41++ for lunch and $64++ for dinner. Children 5 and under dine for free. The menu features a lavish array of local delicacies and international favourites served in a jubilant, celebratory atmosphere.
