Happening from now till 31 December 2024, Another Sphere offers a unique journey through art, technology, and exclusive rewards designed for the discerning modern shopper and is anchored by three unique augmented reality (AR) experiences accessible via the ION Orchard mobile app. They include a gamified “loot box” Garden Gems, larger-than-life booms AR filter and a TWG Tea AR experience. Shoppers can also look forward to an in-app gameboard Adventure Perks and a physical floral installation at Level 1.

Take a stroll in the whimsical floral garden ‘Garden Gems’ on the ION Orchard mobile app and pick your choice among three flowers to earn exclusive rewards. Shoppers stand a chance to win the grand prize of 1,000 ION⁺ Rewards Points (worth $400 e-vouchers).

As part of Garden Gems, nine participating brands have come onboard to provide exclusive rewards, including 1-Atico, Armani Exchange, ALUXE, Diesel, Estée Lauder, La Mer, MAX&Co, THANN, TWG Tea, and TADA.

To redeem a ticket to access Garden Gems and start earning rewards, shoppers may:

• Visit the physical installation at L1 Atrium and scan the QR code at the installation
• Spend minimum $50 at any participating Easy Earn store
• Complete Adventure Perks in-app Gameboard

To fully experience Another Sphere and to encourage shoppers to explore ION Orchard, we are also introducing Adventure Perks, an in-app gameboard that rewards shoppers with a ticket to Garden Gems upon completion of tasks. These include interacting with selected physical directory touchpoints in the mall that are equipped with a QR code scanner.

Best viewed at the L1 Atrium and L2, this AR experience allows shoppers to record videos, ideal for social sharing and capturing unforgettable moments at ION Orchard.

Turning virtual into reality, ION Orchard will complement the digital experience with a physical installation at the L1 Atrium, offering yet another photo opportunity for shoppers. The physical installation will include a QR code to direct shoppers to download the ION Orchard mobile app and blooming flowers come to life, serving as the perfect backdrop for that picture-perfect moment.

Furthering the journey, ION Orchard has also partnered TWG Tea to deliver TWG Tea AR, an immersive luxury retail experience for a new generation of tea lovers. The experience can be launched via the ION Orchard mobile app when shoppers are at the TWG Tea boutique located at L2 of the mall. Shoppers can explore interactive information about tea varieties such as fine harvests, single estate teas and exclusive tea blends, and beautifully crafted tea accessories.
