All-new, third-generation Panamera luxury sedan. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Claudine restaurant located within the luxurious Dempsey Hill enclave, guests who attended the exclusive launch were treated to an immersive journey of gastronomic opulence, paired with automotive sophistication.

The elegance of the new Panamera was interpreted via enchanting decorations created outside Claudine Restaurant, reminiscent of the Côte d’Azur in the south of France. A lush floral arrangement was created around the new car, and guests were treated to a four-course gastronomic journey at Claudine – each dish also reflecting the unique features of the Panamera, from the distinctive Porsche DNA to the unrivalled marriage of luxury and performance, and the ability to personalize from near-limitless options to truly stand out from the crowd.

“The all-new Panamera stands for equal parts luxury and sportiness inside out,” said Mr. Andre Brand, General Manager of Porsche Singapore. “Our flagship has always been the choice for those bold enough to forge their own path. Now, with even more powerful drive systems, a fundamentally modernised operating concept and plenty of innovative technology, we underline our claim to offer the most dynamic sedan in the segment.”

Exterior and Interior: luxurious and sporty
The new Panamera retains the characteristic lines and proportions of its model line, measuring 5,052 mm in length, 1,937 mm in width, and 1,423 mm in height (Executive: 1,428 mm). The Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Executive variant is also available in Singapore with a longer wheelbase of 5,202 mm.

The appearance of the new Panamera is extensively revamped, giving the sports sedan a more expressive and dynamic look. The redesigned front end is complemented by muscular arches and redesigned headlights featuring the iconic four-point LED daytime running lights.

For the first time, centre-lock wheels are specified as standard on the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid, while customers can choose from a variety of new wheel designs across the Panamera range. At the rear, the signature Porsche light bar forms part of a redesigned rear cluster, while the familiar Panamera silhouette is tapered off with the rear window’s outer edges flush with the body contour create harmonious rear lines.

Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid customers also receive the ‚Turbonite‘ treatment for the first time, used as a contrast finish on the side window strips and the Turbo logo on the tailgate, as well as in the Porsche crest on the front bonnet, wheels and various elements in the interior.

Inside, the new Panamera is more intuitive and connected than ever: the new Porsche Driver Experience cockpit concept strikes an ideal balance between digital and analogue control elements, with optimally positioned controls for driving along the driver’s axis.

The selector lever is directly to the right of the steering wheel. The mode switch for the driving programmes and the assistance control stalks are also directly accessible to the driver. This means that the driver does not have to take their eyes off the road to adjust the drive programmes and assistance systems.

An optional passenger display closely integrates the passenger into the driving experience. The 10.9-inch screen displays vehicle performance data on request. It also allows operation of the infotainment system and supports video streaming while the car is driving. In order to avoid distracting the driver, the passenger display cannot be seen from the driver’s seat.

Performance: drives like a Porsche
The new Panamera range starts with a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6. Compared to its predecessor, modifications to boost pressure, fuel injection flow rate and ignition timing optimise the car’s performance, delivering up to 260 kW (353 PS) and 500 Nm of torque – an increase of 17 kW (23 PS) and 50 Nm from before. This shortens the Panamera’s sprint to 100 km/h to 5.1 seconds and boosts its top speed to 272 km/h.

Three hybrid powertrains are also available at launch in Singapore: compared to the previous generation, all Panamera E-Hybrid models offer a greater electric range, faster charging speed, better throttle response and better driving performance in almost all disciplines.

With a rated capacity of 25.9 kWh (gross), the new high voltage battery provides around 45 per cent more capacity in a comparable space. At the same time, the new 11 kW On-Board-AC-charger shortens the charging time to two hours and 39 minutes. With 140 kW (190 PS) and 450 Nm of torque, the completely new electric motor offers significantly more power than its predecessor.

The new hybrid system on the Panamera is also integrated into the transmission housing in an efficient and weight-optimised way, and into the oil cooling circulation of the PDK transmission. The internal rotor design (the rotor rotates inside the stator) reduces the mass inertia by 50 per cent, which improves the throttle response. With a recuperation of up to 88 kW, the electric motor also contributes to the significantly increased electric range of the Panamera E-Hybrid models.

The particularly efficient and versatile Panamera 4 E-Hybrid combines a new e-hybrid system with a significantly revamped 2.9-litre V6 biturbo petrol engine with 224 kW (304 PS) The result is a powerful system output of 346 kW (470 PS) and 650 Nm, while combined fuel consumption is rated at 1.4 – 1.0 l/100 km in the WLTP cycle. The purely electric range of the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid increases to 96 kilometres in the WLTP cycle (EAER city), and acceleration from zero to 100 km/h occurs in just 4.1 seconds, as the car goes on to a top speed of 280 km/h.

The Panamera 4S E-Hybrid places a stronger focus on driving dynamics as well as sustained power delivery in the upper rev range. Its 2.9-litre biturbo six-cylinder engine delivers 260 kW (353 PS), the system output is 400 kW (544 PS) and the maximum torque is 750 Nm. This enables the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km/h.

The Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid features a fundamentally revised 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine. Together with the new hybrid system, total power output is at 500 kW (680 PS), and overall torque reaches an impressive 930 Nm. The Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid sprints to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and achieves a top speed of 315 km/h.

Comfort: cutting-edge suspension systems
The new Panamera comes as standard with a new adaptive two-valve air suspension, optionally with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), offering an even greater spread between comfort and sportiness: The system capably cushions impacts from uneven surfaces, while at the same time ensuring more body stability in dynamic driving situations. Handling can be further improved with optional all-wheel steering.

In addition, the innovative new Porsche Active Ride active suspension is available as an option on selected models of the new Panamera. This system delivers top levels of performance and offers an unprecedented breadth of capabilities between driving comfort and driving dynamics.

The basis for this comes from newly developed active shock absorbers – also with two-valve technology – each connected to an electrically operated hydraulic pump. This generates a volume flow in the damper according to demand and can therefore build up forces between the body and wheels in a lightning-fast, highly precise and targeted manner, counteracting and almost completely compensates for the forces acting on the suspension as a result of uneven road surfaces. A weight-saving single-chamber air-suspension system complements this technology.

The result of this technology is a suspension system that keeps the body of the Panamera level at all times, even during dynamic braking, steering and acceleration manoeuvres. With a smooth ride, the system absorbs bumps almost completely. In dynamic driving situations, the Porsche Active Ride suspension ensures a perfect connection to the road thanks to a balanced distribution of wheel loads.

If the appropriate mode is activated, the suspension can also compensate for pitching and rolling motions to reduce the accelerative forces acting on the car’s occupants. In this setting, the new Panamera leans inwards into corners like a motorcycle. It also pulls the front down when accelerating and the rear when decelerating. When stationary, the Porsche Active Ride suspension system lifts the body by 55 millimetres to a comfortable height for ease of entry and exit.

Personalisation: create your dream Panamera
A large number of options are already available for the new Panamera in the Porsche Car Configurator to meet the individualisation requests of customers in this segment. In addition, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur has already developed a number of directly configurable options for the new Panamera, including SportDesign packages in different finishes, special interior accents and a choice of 21-inch wheels.
