A sensational journey of discovery with The Grape Escape
Celebrating the best of wine experiences, this year’s edition of Wine Lust features the festival’s first-ever weekend wine bus tour, The Grape Escape, providing individuals a unique opportunity to sip, savour and sightsee, also travelling to favourite 1-Group dining concepts across three uniquely curated wine journeys:
- 19 August Saturday, 2.45pm
Participants can immerse into lush greenery and appreciate sustainable wine on this tour. The journey starts with An Afternoon Affair, an annual event featuring nine wine partners held at Botanico, The Garage, and a retail wine market located in the heart of Botanic Gardens. The journey continues with a charcuterie board and wine tasting session with Mr Vino at Sol & Ora, allowing participants to bask in the magnificent Sentosa sunset at 1-Altitude Coast. It comes to a close with a 5-course dinner with sake pairing at Oumi, 1-Arden, accompanied with a stunning view of Marina Bay perched 51 levels off the ground – next to the world’s highest sustainable urban farm at the 1-Arden Food Forest
- 26 August, Saturday, 3.15pm
This route allows wine lovers to relish in the best of European wines and explore a wide range of flavours and textures found in these wines. The journey starts with a wine tasting fair featuring nine wine suppliers at 1-Atico’s lounge – located at the peak of ION Orchard boasting spectacular panoramic views of Singapore. It is followed by a masterclass with Cellarmaster (La Rioja Alta Wines) at UNA, the exclusive ambassador of La Rioja Alta wines. Participants will also get a glimpse of the newly refurbished private wine cellar and La Rioja Alta wine tasting room located in The Alkaff Mansion. Finally, it finishes in the evening with a 5-course wine pairing dinner at Botanico, The Garage.
- 2 September, Saturday, 3.00pm
Participants may look to venture on an alternate Eurolatin wine experience with this route. The journey starts with a Crystal Wines masterclass at Au Balcon, The Summerhouse – a conservative bungalow tucked away in the idyllic Seletar countryside, followed by a weekend fiesta masterclass at Sol & Luna, 1-Arden. The wine experience concludes with a Vina Concha Y Toro multi-sensory wine pairing dinner, featuring Wine Spectator Award 2023 recipient, FIRE, 1Atico.

Unique to this year’s edition of Wine Lust is the Wines of the World Map*, a visually elaborate map detailing the festival’s key highlights and insights into 1-Group’s extensive list of tantalizing dining concepts.
