I had the pleasure of trying their Assorted Nuts with Jamón Ibérico Baked Mooncake and their Double Yolk with White Lotus Paste Mooncake, and they left me truly impressed. The Assorted Nuts with Jamón Ibérico Baked Mooncake is a true delight for the senses. From the moment I unwrapped the beautiful packaging, the rich aroma of roasted nuts and savoury Jamón Ibérico filled the air, setting the stage for a memorable culinary experience. Upon the first bite, I was greeted with a perfect combination of textures. The crust, golden brown and delicately flaky, encased a generous filling of assorted nuts adding a delightful crunch to each bite. The pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the Jamón Ibérico, adding a savoury and smoky note that beautifully balanced the sweetness of the nutty filling. The blend of flavours in this mooncake was harmonious, with each ingredient complementing the other. The nutty goodness was comforting, while the presence of Jamón Ibérico added a layer of sophistication and uniqueness. It was evident that Shisen Hanten’s culinary team had put thought and effort into creating this outstanding creation. The Double Yolk with White Lotus Paste Mooncake exuded an aura of elegance from the moment it graced my table.
