From Monday 11th December to Sunday 31st December, Fifty Raffles Place penthouse (SEAR, ANGIE’S, EMPIRE, LOWER EAST SIDE 45), the multi-concept lifestyle spot located in the heart of Singapore is offering festive themed dining experiences and an unforgettable New Year’s masquerade countdown where everyone will feel the magic of the season this year!

Angie’s
Enjoy a crustacean loving Christmas at Angie’s Oyster Bar with ‘The Oysters of Christmas’ platter. The delicious seafood luxury have been given a festive spin. 12 oysters in 6 different ways, flavours include Parma Ham, Peach, Seaweed Vinaigrette and Spring Onion.

The ‘The Oysters of Christmas’ platter will be available from Monday 18th December to Saturday 23rd December and will be priced at $39++ for a dozen platter and $25++ for half dozen platter (chef’s selection).

SEAR
Tis the season for eating! Start the season with SEAR’S Head Chefs five-star curated set lunch and dinner menus. The festive 3-course lunch menu incorporates both classic Christmas dishes including Roasted French Turkey with Chestnut Stuffing, Maple Brussel Sprouts, Nuts and Turkey Sauce and modern twists on Christmas flavours including festive Spiced Christmas Doughnuts creation. The menu is priced at $35++ and will be available from Monday 18th December to Friday 22nd December.

The 4-course dinner menu features lavish choices of seafood, meats and classic Christmas dishes including Oyster Rockefeller, Pira Grilled Foie Gras served with Crushed Pistachio and Sweet Potato Chips, and a Sher Wagyu Striploin with Duck Fat Roasted Potatoes and Root Vegetables. The 4-course menu is priced at $75++ and will be available from Monday 18th December to Saturday 23rd December.

 

Festive 4-course dinner menu

First Course (choose one of two)

(A) Oyster Rockefeller

Crispy Pancetta, Sour Cream & Herb Crumbs

This oyster rocks, take it at one go and pair it with Chardonnay White Wine or Sparkling Wine / Champagne

(B) Pira Grilled Foie Gras served with Crushed Pistachio and Sweet Potato Chips

Crushed Pistachio, Port Wine Reduction, Sweet Potato Chips

This is my personal favourite, Foie Gras Pira Grilled to perfection, pair that with some champagne or chardonnay .

Second course: choose one of two

(A) Creme de Potiron Aux Champignons

Candied Walnut

Creamy soup base which prepare your palate for the main meat course. I liked the crispy candied walnut.

(B) Wagyu Beef Tataki

Horseradish crema, Balsamic Pickled Pearl Onion

Beef tataki refers to a Japanese method of preparing fillet beef, where the meat is lightly seared, marinated, sliced thinly similar to sashimi, and served with a citrus-soy dipping sauce. So as you can imagine, this wagyu beef tataki is delicious and also prepares your palate for the meat dish that follows.

Third Course; Choose one of two

(A) Roasted French Baby Turkey

Maple Brussel Sprouts & Nuts, Chestnut Stuffing, Giblet Sauce

Turkey is a must have during Christmas season, and the maple Brussel sprouts & nuts complimented it so well. Very satisfying  main course.

(B) Sher Wagyu Striploin

Duck Fat Roasted Potato, Roots Vegetable, Mustard Sauce

For those who want to skip the turkey, you can choose Wagyu Striploin. SEAR is well known for their meat and this does not disappoint.

 

Fourth Course:

Chocolate & Whisky Mud Cake

No meal is complete without the dessert. This chocolate & whisky mud cake is the perfect festive dessert to complete the dinner.

 

Turducken

All carnivore lovers rejoice! Back by popular demand, SEAR will be offering the ‘Turducken’, an extravagant center piece for any Christmas event this year! Over the top but extremely delicious all foodies must leave room for the quail, in a chicken, in a duck, in a turkey. The mammoth signature is accompanied by Brussel Sprouts sautéed in a Brown Butter, Garlic Potatoes, Roasted Chestnuts and Cabbage all braised in Cranberry Juice and Red Wine. The ‘Turducken’ is priced at $195++ and requires a minimum of three days’ advance order. Available from 11th December– 24th December.

 

 

Lower East Side 45
The newest restaurant edition to Fifty Raffles Place penthouse, Lower East Side 45, will be showcasing a ‘Merry Mexican Menu’. Highlights include Turkey Chalupitas and Pork Belly Black Mole, priced at $199++ for groups of 3-4 pax.

Festive Special: Turkey Burrito (oven roasted Turkey with quinoa, cranberry sauce, candied chestnuts & greens) priced at $18++

Christmas Eve Buffet: Sear x Angie’s x LES
Indulge in a modern Christmas feast at Fifty Raffles Place Penthouse with a cross over buffet from SEAR Steakhouse, Angie’s Oyster Bar and Lower East Side 45. The decadent spread highlights each restaurant’s gourmet specialties from Angie’s Freshly Shucked Oysters to Lower East Side’s Contemporary Tacos to the finest meat selections from SEAR Steakhouse. Traditional staples will also be in abundance with a Live Meat & Seafood Stations, Christmas Fixings and Sweet Treat delicacies.

The Christmas Eve buffet starts from 7pm to 10pm and will be priced at $95++ per person (early bird) and $115++ per person (regular). For an additional $35++ guests can enjoy 3 hours of free flow on Housepour Wines, Beers, Soft Drinks and Juices. Children tickets (3-12 years) will be priced at $55++ including free flow Soft Drinks and Juices.

 

Empire
Countdown to the most wonderful time of the year with ‘Empire’s 12 Days of Christmas’. From Monday 11th December to Saturday 23rd December, enjoy exclusive promotions and giveaways as Empire unveils 12 exciting ways to treat their guests over the festive period. Leading up to Christmas make the most of the sensational offers including purchase 5 shots and receive 5 free, be gifted a complimentary bottle of Moet with every purchase of 3 bottles of Moet and complimentary drinks for those dressed in red getups for the holiday spirit.
