For the first time in SGFW history, Fashion Futures 1.0 designers DEBONEIRE, WAI YANG, WEEKEND SUNDRIES, Ying the Label and NIDA SHAY will be showcasing their collections in a multi-label show. Fashion Futures 1.0 is a mentoring and development programme designed to support the next generation of Singapore fashion designers, and is organised by Mercury Marketing & Communications and supported by SPRING Singapore.

 

Wai Yang, a burmese-born, Singapore-based designer with a degree from the London College of Fashion, will present the Spring/Summer 2018 Collection of her eponymous ready-to-wear label. Exhibiting the brand’s minimalist aesthetic, quality workmanship and prints, each piece is carefully crafted.
