


Opened for lunch and dinner, SEAR is a Modern American Steakhouse specializing in exceptional cuts that are grilled to perfection. The cuts come with the signature SEAR, and heightened with SEAR’s fine collection of vintage wines and exclusive whiskeys.
SEAR’s menu features special selection of meats, signature cuts distinguished by rich marbling and enhanced by the natural flavours with the signature SEAR using imported PIRA charcoal oven.
The team imported full-sized PIRA charcoal oven from Europe to ensure top quality charcoal cooking for the menu and to create the signature SEAR for their meats.
We couldn’t wait to try out the oven on our visit. When we stepped in the restaurant, we were greeted by large open space, with high ceiling to floor windows. Go pass the glass door you will see the open dinning area where guests could chill out while admiring the view.
For this session we started off with Appertizer, Atlantic Lump Crab Cake with Horseraddish sauce. While the dish was simple looking, you would be pleasantly surprise of the soft, moist, crab meat cooked to perfection, and the sauce enhanced the taste 10 times.

Next we had one of the Main, SEAR WAGYU TOMAHAWK STEAK MS(4-5). This was the highlight of the evening. The team shown us the steak before it was cooked and we took picture of it . Simply beautiful, notice the rich marbling.


To eliminate the chemical changes occurring during the cooking process, and affecting the appearance, taste and texture of their fine cut meats, they use PIRA charcoal oven to grill their meats. As a result, they get their signature SEAR, and the authentic charcoal grilled flavours are retained, resulting in a perfectly prepared meat – crispy later of flavour encrusting the juicy and moist blushing pink centre of their signature cuts.

When the meat were sliced up and presented, you know it was grilled to perfection. Juicy and soft with crispy bits on the outside. Perfect to eat on its own or dipped into a variety of sauces.

BRUSSEL SPROUTS BACON, TOASTED HAZENUTS AND PISTACHIO CRISPY PANCETTA
and BAKED POTATOES.
The Brussel sprouts bacon were surprisingly good, although a bit salty but delicious.


We paired the steak with red wine, to enhance the taste.

Next we have one more main , the SEAFOOD PLATTER or OCEAN PLATTER, MAINE BOSTON LOBSTER, JUMBO SHRIMP COCKTAIL, DIVER SCALLOP CEVICHE, HOKKAIDO SNOW CRAB, OYSTERS ON THE HALF SHELL



We also paired the seafood platter with white wine to bring out the ocean freshness.


Although SEAR is known for its steak but their Seafood platter is also surprisingly good. In fact, the seafood is fresh , juicy, and of top quality .
So perhaps this is a good alternative for guests who prefer something lighter and different.
